Tinku Urial, a level seven student of Bhimlash colony in Bangaluru, decided to take his teacher’s advice to “reach for the stars” literally and fell off the balcony of his second floor flat where he stay with his parents. “My teacher, Mr. Yogesh, told us all to reach for the stars, I considered this part of our homework assignment and went out to our balcony to see how far I could reach. I could get quite far but I stretched so far I just flipped over the railing” He said. Lucky for Tinku, his downstairs neighbors have several plants which caught his fall and he was able to come away with only a couple of cuts and two cactus spines lodged into his buttocks.
His parents have written a complaint to the school. In response the school has assigned Nitin several activities and exercises on metaphor interpretation and analysis.
Tinku is a nickname for Nitin?
He is lucky that the cactus “softened” the landing (if landing on spikes can be considered as “soft”). Otherwise he may have been completed “satyanash”!
