Meerut, U.P.: Mr. Sachin Kumar, a landowner and resident of Uldhan village, was savagely consumed by a plastic monster while driving his Toyota Forerunner last evening. Onlookers report that Mr. Kumar was a notorious litterer in the area, known for tossing everything from empty Kurkure packets (the Rs 20 variety) to large Appy Fizz bottles and cigarette packs out of his car window at full speed. On one occasion, Mr. Kumar is said to have hit an elderly woman in the chest with a pizza box, sending her to intensive care.
A neighbor, Mr. Sethi, commented that garbage wasn’t the only thing Mr. Kumar would throw—tantrums and obscenities were also regularly seen flying out of his windows.
The SP has launched an inquiry into how the plastic monster was able to devour Mr. Kumar from a moving vehicle. Locals say the monster was composed mostly of Mr. Kumar’s own refuse and appeared to relish him like a “yummy gol gappa.” A local politician noted that this isn’t the first time someone has been consumed by their own garbage; earlier this year, another man from the area was eaten by a giant litterbug.
